The Associate Degree of Applied Business in Interior Design program prepares students for this challenging and exciting profession It is a field of great creativity whereby all types of interior spaces can be manipulated or altered to form stimulating and functional areas in which to live, work, and play. Career choices include working as a freelance designer or consultant, in association with a design studio or design service, design consultation or furnishings display person. Job projects can be residential, commercial, and/or institutional.

Diploma - Interior Decorating
Starting with Basic Drafting and Drawing Principles the program moves quickly to developing floor plans both two and three-dimensional. Universal design is a unique compliment to the standard program. Single space residential design progresses to commercial design. Kitchen and bath design develops to restaurant and bar design. Throughout the program we increase our understanding of textiles, furniture, lighting, window and wall treatments, architectural materials, and interior accessories. Classes in selling techniques, design business practices, and professional development insure the graduate is prepared for entry-level position as a designer or consultant either as a freelancer or with a design studio or service. The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) approves the program and Antonelli College has a student chapter.
